A lovely imitative portrait of Vespasian

LOWER DANUBE. Geto-Dacians (?). Late 1st to 2nd century AD. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.61 g, 6 h), imitating a denarius of Vespasian (69-79). IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG TP Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. COS ITER TR POT Pax seated left, holding branch in her right hand and caduceus in her left. Cf. BMC 26 and RIC 29 (for prototype). Nicely toned and with a lovely imitative portrait. Minor marks and light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
